SwagBucks

I’m a broke college chix with an confession..I waste A LOT of time on the internet. For some reason or another I even do virtual fake farming!

With this is mind I was hoping to find a way to harness my lazy internet powers and put them to at least something constructive. Thats when I joined swagbucks.

I did a ton of research and I encourage you to also. In the end I joined NOT with the intent to make any real “money” it doesn’t work that way. I joined to get amazon giftcards to apply to my books I need each semester.

How SwagBucks Works:

Swagbucks works by awarding you… well “Swagbucks” or their virtual currency. You can earn swagbucks by searching using their site, entering in swagcodes, shopping from their partners or doing offers (I DO NOT fill out offers most the time – I don’t want spam).

Searching

For me its VERY easy to get 30 points a day (the is off their new point system) in searches.

I do a search 3 times a day roughly, when I wake up and get ready for class, during the afternoon while bumming around in the computer lab and then one more time before bed.

You can techinally “over search” so I only recommend 3-4 times a day since you will not have any luck the more you try.

Do not get frustrated, if after 5 or so minutes of searching and you still haven’t gotten any – stop. Try again in a bit.

I normally get awarded bucks withing my first 3-5 searches, if I don’t I stop and try again in about 15 mins and normally get them straight away.

Swagcodes

Swagcodes are codes provided from the site that give you INSTANT swagbucks. They can be the big “money maker”.

You can find them off the Swagbucks blog, flicker, twitter, etc from time to time. I find it best to follow sites that follow the codes. I myself will try to keep track on here also.
